Institutional Labour

Within the context of the institution, Nithya works toward inclusive frameworks that combat cultural erasure without being reductive or essentialist. She is passionate about an evolution of cultural policy and has consistently advocated for an artist-centric approach within her roles at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and the Australia Council for the Arts. She currently serves as International Market Adviser - South and South East Asia at the Federal Government agency for the arts in Australia and is engaged by Arts Centre Melbourne as Project Consultant - Vision Scoping.
